**I NEED YOU JESUS! …TO COME TO MY RESCUE…WHERE ELSE CAN I GO…? THERE’S NO OTHER NAME BY… WHICH I AM SAVED…CAPTURE ME WITH GRACE…I WILL FOLLOW YOU…I WILL FOLLOW YOU…I WILL FOLLOW YOU…

YOU ARE THE SOURCE…OF LIFE…I CAN’T BE LEFT… BEHIND…NO ONE ELSE WILL DO… I WILL TAKE HOLD OF YOU…

THIS WORLD HAS NOTHING FOR ME…I WILL FOLLOW YOU!!

CAPTURE ME WITH GRACE… I WILL FOLLOW YOU!!

The Lord has been working in my life and teaching me to just trust in Him, instead of worrying about how to please the people in my life. There is nothing that I can do that will ever separate me from God’s love. He loves me with an everlasting love and He has a plan and purpose for my life. He is in control of my life, no one else has that power, including me. I know that I feel deep inside my heart and soul is in conflict and that is not what God has intended for my life.

Lyme became a safety net for me to heal from many hurts and emotions from the past. Although, during the healing process, there is always constant cleansing taking place. It was a hard, yet safe place for me to listen to the Lord and seek His Will for my life. I am still in that process of knowing what His will is for my life; what is my purpose, and I know I will find out in His time.

I’ve felt for a long time that I am being controlled by a person that has no right to control me or to even think that they can control my thinking and actions. I have let fear creep in and take over my emotions. I know that 2 Timothy 1:7 states, “For God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power. Love and a sound mind.”

The only one that I have to prove myself to is God. 2 Timothy 2:15, “Work hard so God can approve you. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.” I feel I have failed this in many ways and I need to get back to working hard.

For a long time I have condemned myself for the way things have been taking place in my life. I do not like to blame any other person for my inadequacies, that just does not seem fair to me. So, I tend to protect the very people that are slowly destroying me with their negativity and condemnations. I just assume that all problems must be from some sin in my life that I need to repent of, then things should get better. As I am slowly realizing, nothing depends on what I assume.

Am I really a negative person? Why is it that when I pray to not be a negative person that I do not change? Does God not hear me or is He choosing to not heal me of that thorn in my flesh until a later time? I do not know. What I do know is that I do not wish to be a negative person. I want people to be able to see Jesus in me, not negativity. I want to lead others to Jesus!

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. For God knew his people in advance, and He chose them to become like His Son, so the His Son would be the firstborn, with many brothers and sisters. And having chosen them, He called them to come to Him. And He gave them right standing with Himself, and He promised them His glory." Romans 8: 28-30

Do I deserve to be condemned by a person that I have chosen to trust? Well, I know that God does not condemn me, so why should a man think he has the right? Hmmm.... Why again did I trust someone? I believe that is where the problem began. I needed a friend that was 'safe' to have, that lived far away from me.  Yet, somehow I have allowed him to be able to control my feelings by the ways he talks to me. I end up feeling sorry for putting him through knowing me. But then, why does he call me and complain about me not calling him. Is it true that because I do not speak in the exact syntax that he thinks I should be using that I am a bad person? God should be the only One that has control over me!! This relationship is WRONG!! I do not and have never wanted any type of relationship with this person. This is not right, but who do I trust to go to with this information?

God, You know all things and YOU and only YOU know my heart. I know You will direct my paths and lead me in the way everlasting. I know if You bring a person to my mind that I can trust, I will reach out and seek assistance in this matter.

"What can we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since God did not spare even His own Son but gave Him up for us all, won’t God, who gave us Christ, also give us everything else?" Romans 8: 31-32

"Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for His own? Will God? No! He is the One who has given us right standing with Himself. Who then will condemn us? Will Christ Jesus? No, for He is the One who died for us and was raised to life for us and is sitting at the place of highest honor next to God, pleading for us."

"Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love?"

"Does it mean He no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or are hungry or cold or in danger or threatened with death? Even the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.” No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us."

"And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from His love. Death can’t, and life can’t. The angel’s can’t, and the demons can’t. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can’t keep God’s love away."

"Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:33-39 NLV

So, what is wrong with me, can I feel? Maybe God really did take my feelings away and that is why I can not feel all the time. When I talk to this person, I feel dead because I do not think I can feel; yet at other times that I can not stop feeling and my emotions get lose, especially when I am praising the Lord!

“How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. Keep me from deliberate sins! Don’t let them control my thoughts and feelings. Then I will be free of guilt and innocent of great sin.” Psalm 19:12-13

Dear heavenly Father, You know what I need before I even form the words in my mind on what I need to pray. You know that I need a new heart, not a physical one, but one that You will change. Give me the newness of spirit that refreshes like the spring water which flows through the valleys of Psalm 23. Lord , I really need a new heart, even though I thought I received one when I was born again and chose to follow You all the days of my life.

2 Corin. 5:17: “ Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

Heavenly Father, please create in me a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit within me. (Psalm 51:10) I know that once I have a changed heart, I will have a changed life. I will be much better at loving the unlovable, be kind to those that are unkind to me, and forgive the unforgiveable. Because when I have a new heart, I will have a heart like God’s heart.

After this divine transplant, in God's timing, healing will begin and my new heart will become capable of perfect love. My self-centeredness will become Christ-centeredness. There is healing to replace the hatred and a healing balm for the bitterness in my life. I can face the word with a freedom and a future I have never known before.

“May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O Lord, my Rock and Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14

Open my eyes that I behold the wonders of Your law.

Lord Jesus, I pray that you would cleanse my heart so You can speak to me through Your Holy Spirit and Your Word. Lord, please open my heart. Lord fill my heart with the Holy Spirit. May my mind be alert, my soul active and my heart warm. Enshroud me in Your presence during this time in the valley, Lord God Almighty.

"I once thought all these things were so very important, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the priceless gain of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I may have Christ and become one with Him. I no longer count on my own goodness or my ability to obey God's law, but I trust Christ to save me. For God's way of making us right with Himself depends on faith. As a result, I can really know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised Him from the dead. I can learn what it means to suffer with Him, sharing in His death, so that, somehow, I can experience the resurrection from the dead!"

"I don't mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection! But I keep working toward that day when I will finally be all that Christ Jesus saved me for and wants me to be. No, I am still not all I should be, but I am focusing all my energies on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling (me) up to heaven." Phil. 3:7-14
