We had a special speaker at our church for the morning and evening services. This is some of the blessings I received:
Since Sunday night I have not been able to put into words what went on at my church, other than it was awesome. I have never witnessed anything like it in my whole life!! It was frightening in a way, yet I'm overwhelmed by the power that was in the sanctuary. I could not sleep at all Sunday night, there was so many thoughts going around in my mind----but I kept hearing those words spoken to me, "the destiny is still bright for you". The things he said to me bypassed my brain and shot straight into my soul. It was like Jesus was talking right to me. I felt something so deep inside me--like He touched me...For some reason I do not know, I looked up at the speaker and saw his lips moving, then looked straight into his eyes and knew it was Jesus talking through him. I could not look away....I was dumbfounded that Jesus was speaking to me....
He said things I have thought in my mind, yet never told anyone and mentioned the many battles I have with the things that happened to me in my life. It was like He validated me....I wish I could explain it better, but not yet....
Monday night I prayed that God would let me sleep right through the night. I woke up at 8:30 Tuesday morning and I realized that I was different. I felt God telling me to write down what He was saying to me.
I could hear Him speaking to me and I knew it was HIM!! I realized that God has given me so many ways to fight the battles that take place in my mind! He was with me through all those battles as a child, teenager, college student, young adult, married adult and now alone again, and He has a destiny for me that is still bright! I realized all the things that God has designed for my life, the devil tried to destroy--but he didn't have enough power because God is GREATER, STRONGER, HIGHER and more AWESOME than any other!
My God is HEALER! He healed me from ALL the wounds the devil threw at me, through different types of abuse and sicknesses. During this past week, he has been trying his best to steal me and destroy me, but GOD'S lifeline is STRONGER than anything that can come against me. Even when I think that I can't take it any longer, His lifeline comes to me and all I need to do is just hold onto it.
I can feel, I can see, I understand now what is going on in my life. I see now why the devil was after me so much the week before the guest speaker came. He was afraid of what was going to take place in my life.
When the guest speaker was talking about the 4th watch, I understood why I have had so many battles happening during those hours. It is usually 3:33 or 4:44am. (For some reason those numbers really bother me) It was during those times when I would get weary from the fighting and just give in and quit trying to battle the thoughts....then....I would feel a weird sense of peace, not really real peace, but quietness before a tornado strikes.
Colossians 1: 13-14 "He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins."
I need to shake off anything that comes near me that is not of God. Take every thought captive, let no negative thoughts take hold in my mind- never, ever! Only good wholesome thoughts, Holy Spirit thoughts!
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself again the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ"..
Everything in my life that has happened that I believed was punishment was actually the devil trying to take me from God. But, God always won! Whenever bad things happened, He always bounced me back. I had a beautiful place high up on the mountains, in my imagination, that I could go to escape the reality of what was going on in my life. I had to climb up a steep cliff to the very top and then roll down the grassy slopes of my beautiful secret place. There was a stream of water running through the field and no one was there but me, it was so peaceful and safe. No one could hurt me there. No one but me could ever be in that place, therefore it was safe for me. The birds were singing in the trees, flowers blowing in the gentle breeze and I knew Jesus was there. I couldn't see Him.... just feel His presence. I'd go to my secret place whenever I could, sometimes I could not find the opening to get in and I'd have to face whatever was going on with the happenings. Sometimes, I would try to go there on my own and I could not get in. It was like I had to be transported there by God...
I knew I was safe there and that the devil could not find me, because I was hidden from him. He had no access to me. No other people were ever there, it was just my place. I knew as soon as I left there, that he would be after me again. The devil was a formless blob that constantly chased me. I'd have nightmares that he would catch me and I would not be able to get away, but God always rescued me. I never knew what God looked like, I just knew He was there and when I would leave my secret place, I felt stronger.
You know the interesting thing about my secret place? I had never read Psalm 23 until 1988 which is the year I got saved and bought a Bible, yet my secret place is just like Psalm 23.
Throughout my whole life, I could feel God's presence with me at certain times, even when bad things were happening.
After I wrote this note, I went outside to mow my lawn. As I was mowing, the clouds covered the sky and a slight breeze was blowing on me as I walked faster to try to get as much grass cut before the rain. I had just told myself that I could do all things through Christ who gives me the strength, wanting to get another strip of grass done, when BANG!!! Thunder smashed into my ears from right above my head!! I said, "Okay! Okay! Okay God, I heard that! Thank You for the warning, I will stop now." Then as I put the mower into the woods to keep it dry, the rains came. Ooohhhhhhh.......it was so peaceful and quiet. All I could hear were the big drops of rain tumbling out of the sky and watched in awe as they fell to the ground. The thunder was banging all around me and I was not afraid. I walked into the rain and just stood there allowing the healing rain to completely drench me as I praised the Lord. It was awesome in ways I can't explain now. The Lord healed me from the fears I had when I was a child....
Then I stood on my front porch and watched the beauty and power of that storm. It made me realize that my God is GREATER and STRONGER than anything that could ever come after me. I knew that my POWERFUL God would protect me as I made that choice to follow Him wherever He leads me.
After a few minutes, I went out to the back deck and knelt down and talked to God in the middle of the storm....then I laid down and prayed and surrendered everything to God. The thunder was just rumbling at this point and not banging as severe as before. I have never felt so much peace. I don't know how long I stayed out there, but the rains had stopped and I was actually getting cold, so I came inside.
I feel different than I have ever felt....I do not know how to explain it....I'm not worried about anything....just peaceful and I will take it for as long as I can have it!!

Prayer for direction and protection
In brokenness I come to You, Jesus. I’m kneeling in surrender to Your Spirit.
Mend my broken heart, I can find no other; to mend my broken heart, to give me hope, Jesus.
Lord I want to place my life in Your hands. Lay my burdens at Your feet.
Take my life, take my heart, I am Yours.
In repentance I come to You Jesus. I’m kneeling in surrender to Your Spirit.
Forgive me, my sins, I want no other-than to give my life to You, my all to You, Jesus.
Lord I want to place my life in Your hands. Lay my burdens at Your feet.
Take my life, take my heart, I am Yours.
Heavenly Father, I turn away from my sins. I admit I do not even know what some of them are, but I pray that You will bring them to my mind, so that I can confess them and ask You to forgive me. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son and that He came into this world, specifically to the earth physically in order to destroy the power of darkness in my life. I believe that Jesus paid the price for my sins because He loves me! I ask that the Holy Spirit would come into my heart right now and establish Jesus as Lord of my life. I submit myself to the lordship of Jesus Christ and to the power of the Holy Spirit. I pray that the Holy Spirit will dominate every area of my life and deliver me from the influences of this world that are not of God. I pray that the Holy Spirit will deliver me from every area of my life that is negative and displeasing to God.
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I command my old sinful nature that is filled with negativity to die. I want my life to be saturated with the Holy Spirit and submitted to the Word of God. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, my mind is being renewed daily with the Scriptures and my life is being strengthened through healthy relationships with my sisters in Christ.
I do not want to live for myself, for the world or under the influence of darkness. I am committed to live the life that God designed for me.
I renounce every evil spirit that is trying to work in, through or around me. In Jesus’ name, I command every dark spirit away from em, and I proclaim that the powers of darkness have no grounds to be in or around my life. I am committed to the lordship of Jesus Christ, which means no other influence can dominate me!
Thank You Jesus for delivering me from the evil one.
Our Father who art in Heaven
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done;
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive
those who have trespassed against us.
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from every evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory
Forever and ever. Amen

A Birthday Party
Dear loved ones,
As you well know, we are getting closer to my birthday. Every year there is a celebration in my honor and I think that this year the celebration will be repeated. During this time there are many people shopping for gifts, there are many radio announcements, TV commercials, and in every part of the world everyone is talking that my birthday is getting closer and closer.
It is really very nice to know, that at least once a year, some people think of me. As you know, the celebration of my birthday began many years ago. At first people seemed to understand and be thankful of all that I did for them, but in these times, no one seems to know the reason for the celebration. Family and friends get together and have a lot of fun, but they don't know the meaning of the celebration.
Remember that last year there was a great feast in my honor. The dinner table was full of delicious foods, pastries, fruits, assorted nuts and chocolates. The decorations were exquisite and there were many, many beautifully wrapped gifts. But, do you want to know something? I wasn't invited. I was the guest of honor and they didn't remember to send me an invitation. The party was for me, but when that great day came, I was left outside, they closed the door in my face. And I wanted to be with them and share their table.
In truth, that didn't surprise me because in the last few years, all close their doors to me. Since I wasn't invited, I decided to enter the party without making any noise. I went in and stood in a corner. They were all drinking; there were some who were drunk and telling jokes and laughing at everything. They were having a grand time. To top it all, this big fat man all dressed in red wearing a long white beard entered the room yelling Ho-Ho-Ho! He seemed drunk. He sat on the sofa and all the children ran to him, saying: "Santa Claus, Santa Claus"! (as if the party were in his honor!)
At 12 Midnight all the people began to hug each other; I extended my arms waiting for someone to hug me and… do you know... no one hugged me. Suddenly they all began to share gifts. They opened them one by one with great expectation. When all had been opened, I looked to see if, maybe, there was one for me.
What would you feel if on your birthday everybody shared gifts and you did not get one? I then understood that I was unwanted at that party and quietly left.

Every year it gets worse. People only remember to eat and drink, the gifts, the parties and nobody remembers me. I would like this Christmas that you allow me to enter into your life. I would like that you recognize the fact that almost two thousand years ago I came to this world to give my life for you, on the cross, to save you. Today, I only want that you believe this with all your heart.
I want to share something with you. As many didn't invite me to their party, I will have my own celebration, a grandiose party that no one has ever imagined, a spectacular party.
I'm still making the final arrangements. Today I am sending out many invitations and there is an invitation for you. I want to know if you wish to attend and I will make a reservation for you and write your name with golden letters in my great guest book. Only those on the guest list will be invited to the party. Those who don't answer the invitation, will be left outside.
Be prepared because when all is ready you will be part of my great party.
See you soon.
I Love you!

Journey Through the Valley of Trials
GOD IS MY VICTORY and HE IS HERE!
This is my prayer in the desert, and all that’s within me feels dry. This is my prayer of the hunger in me, my God is a God who provides. This is my prayer in the fire, in weakness or trial or pain. There is a faith proved of more worth than gold, so refine me Lord through the flames. And I will bring praise, I will bring praise! No weapon forged against me shall remain! Isaiah 54:17
I will rejoice, I will declare; God is my victory and He is here!
(Yes, He’s here with me through ALL my trials. He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am His and that He will never ever leave me or forsake me or abandon me. He loves me, even though I am not perfect or even close to being good enough.)
And this is my prayer in the battle, and triumph is still on its way.
I am a conqueror and co-heir with Christ, so firm on His promise I’ll stand.
All of my life, in every season,
YOU ARE STILL GOD, I HAVE A REASON TO SING,
I HAVE A REASON TO WORSHIP!
“Yea!! You are my God, I have a reason to live,
I have a reason to worship!!
All of my days, in every trial,
YOU ARE MY GOD.
I HAVE A REASON TO LIVE,
I HAVE A REASON TO WORSHIP!!”
I WILL BRING PRAISE, I WILL BRING PRAISE,
NO WEAPON FORGED AGAINST ME SHALL REMAIN!
I WILL REJOICE, I WILL DECLARE:
GOD is MY VICTORY and HE IS HERE!
Feeling stuck in a shell and can not get out, yet wanting to get out but not knowing how. Been leaning on the Lord, but, apparently not in the right direction. Okay. While in my self made shell, finally realizing that I put myself in it for protection a long time ago and got stuck. While married and not in my shell, I had to fight for my rights and teach my children to fight for their rights, also; but then the D-word happened and I went deep into my shell.
It was blamed on me having too much pride and that is the explanation for why all the bad things keep happening. Never been sure what to think about that. If we say we have no pride, then we are lying and the Lord hates us because He hates sin and lying is sin. God loves me and has been leading me day by day and for some reason unbeknownst to me they (my so called friends) say that all my troubles are from a secret sin in my life and that I am not following Him closely enough. I know this all sounds confusing, but it is the way my mind is working and I am finally writing it down on paper to deal with it in whatever way is needed.
I need You Jesus to come to my rescue.
Where else can I go?
There’s no other Name by which I am saved, capture me with grace.
I will follow YOU!!
This world has nothing for me.
I (can) barely hear You whisper through the rain, "I am with you".
I’ll praise You in this storm and I will lift my hands for You are who You are, no matter where I am, and every tear I cry, Lord, You hold in Your hand. You never left my side and though my heart is torn, I will praise You in this storm!
My strength is almost gone, I can barely hear You.
I’ll praise the God who gives and takes away.
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.
Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit on the vines; though the labor of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food; though the flock be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord. I will be joyful in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, and He will make me walk on high hills.
Habakkah 3:17-19
How long must I pray, must I pray to you;
How long, must I wait, must I wait for You;
How long till I see your face, see you shining through;
‘cause I’m on my knees begging you to notice me,
I’m on my knees, Father will You turn to me?
*One tear in the dropping rain, one voice in a sea of pain;
Could the maker of the stars, hear the sound of my breaking heart;
One light is all I am, right now I can barely stand;
If you’re everything You say You are, would you come close and hold my heart?
I’ve been so afraid, afraid to close my eyes.
So much can slip away, before I say good bye;
But if there’s no other way, I’m done asking why;
‘cause I’m on my knees, begging You to turn to me,
I’m on my knees, Father, will You run to me?
So many questions without answers, Your promises remain;
I can’t see but I’ll take my chances to hear YOU call my name,
hear You call my name.
Hold my heart, could you hold my heart
I believe the wisdom of God's Word dwells in me, and because He says it does, I realize that I should be without fear or dread of evil; but that is one area where I really struggle. In all my ways I know and acknowledge God and His Word. He directs my path each day and He orders my thoughts and words I speak. Yet, I still fail and let the devil’s arrows break through my armor. This is not my will that these things happen. Why do I let them tear me down? I realize it is my choice, though I never remember purposely choosing to let it happen.
As I look into God's word, it is health to my nerves and my mind. Yet, it makes me wonder what on earth I am doing to be bringing on all these disasters into my life! First, one whole year of lyme relapse before receiving healing, Praise the Lord!! Then going to 2 dentists to find out that what I told the very first dentist almost 2 years ago was the correct diagnosis and I have been living with an abscessed tooth for a very long time. I realize that it has been so long, that no one will think it really is a problem because I should be used to it by now, but I’m not. It still hurts and I am sure it has caused irreparable damage to that area of my mouth.
Then, the well went dry and having dirty, bacteria water to deal with for over a year, almost constantly. Then, quitting the bank job that was making my relapse much worse, and then not being able to get unemployment because CVG says I am still employed by them, when in reality I left by giving them a resignation letter in Feb. 2009. It took several months to clear up so I could receive unemployment compensation.

It took several months to clear up so I could receive unemployment compensation.
Yesterday, something strange took over me as I walked into the garage, noticed the mess of stinky, dirty water from my hot water tank that leaked during the night, and shook my head in disbelief, got into my car, backed it out of garage, loaded it up and went to do a placement. I do not think I even really worried about it or even really thought about it until I got back home. Then, I just chalked it up to just another trial that I had to get through. Why not? Am I too good of a person to not deserve these things to happen? NO. Why should they not happen? I need to be happy that I am worthy to be tested in the fire.
Then, I panicked because I knew that one of two things may have happened to me. Either I let my feelings not come to the surface, which I know will make me depressed, or I just do not care anymore, which ultimately ends in deep depression. I still am not sure which one actually was taking place. I was in the pit of despair and wondering how on earth I ended up there again. Why can I not learn to deal with this stuff? Why do I not let it roll off my back like I used to? Why do I just give in to it and let it take over my whole persona?
I’m in the moment now, a bitter root
A wandering eye, and then, the ties that bind start wearing thin.
I’m in the moment now when all that I’ve been blessed with is not enough
Here’s where the ground gets loose, here’s where the devils call my bluff.
I need to STAY STRONG, I am not lost!
I NEED to fix my eyes ahead;
There’s a new dawn to light my day.
I’ve got to STAY STRONG, as I run for the prize that lies ahead.
I’ve come too far to lose my way.
I’ve seen the tragic flaws, the tortured souls, the saints with feet of clay;
Here’s where sin becomes cliché.
I’ve come through the wilderness of lyme and watched the cloud by day, the burning sky into dawn; have I forgotten who I am? Did I forget whose trip I’m on?
I need to STAY STRONG!! I am not lost!
I NEED to fix my eyes ahead.
There’s a new dawn to light my day. I’ve got to STAY STRONG!!
I run for the prize that lies ahead & I’ve come too far to lose my way.
Get up! There’s further to go.
Get up! There’s more to be done.
Get up! This witness is sure.
Get up! This race can be won!!
This race can be won. WOW!!
I’ve got to STAY STRONG, I AM NOT LOST!
I need to fix my eyes ahead, and don’t worry about what is behind.
My Father’s dawn will light MY day.
STAY STRONG!!
HIS GRIP IS SURE AND HIS PATIENCE STILL ENDURES,
THERE WILL BE NO LETTING GO TODAY!!
I am strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in my inner self by the Holy Spirit Himself Who dwells in me. God is my strength and my refuge, and I confidently trust in Him and in His Word. I am empowered through my union with Almighty God. This gives me the superhuman, supernatural strength to walk in divine health and to live in abundance. Some days I do not “feel” like I have any strength, but I know deep down that I have the Holy Spirit in me, therefore I always have the strength I need for each day.
God Himself has said, "Don’t be obsessed with getting more material things. Be relaxed in what you have. Since God assured us, ‘I’ll never let you down, never walk off and leave you,’ we can boldly quote, God is there, ready to help,

I’m fearless no matter what. Who or what can get to me?” Heb. 13:5-6 TMB
I take comfort and am encouraged and confidently and bold say, "The Lord is my helper. I will not be seized with alarm. I will not fear or be terrified, for what can man do to me?"
But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

DAYS OF MY LIFE
“He is slow to lose patience with me.
He takes the circumstances of my life and uses them in a constructive way for my growth.
He does not treat me as an object to be possessed and manipulated.
He has no need to impress me with how great and powerful He is because He is God. Nor does He belittle me as His child in order to show me how important He is.
He is for me!! He wants me to mature and develop in His love.
He does not send down His wrath on every little mistake I make, of which there are many!
He does not keep score of all my sins and then beat me over the head with them whenever He gets a chance.
He is deeply grieved when I do not walk in the ways that please Him because He sees this as evidence that I do not trust Him and love Him as I should.
He rejoices when I experience His power and strength and stand up under the pressure of life for His name’s sake.
He keep working patiently with me even when I feel like giving up and can not see why He does not give up with me too.
He keeps on trusting me when at times I do not even trust myself.
He never says there is no hope for me, rather, He patiently works with me, loves me and disciplines me in such a way that it is hard for me to understand the depth of His concern for me.
He never forsakes me even though many of my friends might.”
Written by Dr. Dick Dickerson as a paraphrase of 1 Cor. 13
Please be patient with me. God is not finished with me yet. As I look into certain areas of my life, I can be tempted to break into tears of discouragement because I feel so defeated. But God is still working in my life and He will never give up on me!! Praise the Lord! Yesterday, as I listened on a call for my business, I realized that the way I can really learn to live for the Lord is to always HOPE:
Help Other People Everyday
And by doing that I will grow in the Lord and have HOPE in my life!!
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You and praise You for Who You are!!
(Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, Holy, Holy is He;
Sing a new song, to Him who sits Heaven’s mercy seat) x2
*Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty
Who was, and is, and is to come
With all creation I sing praise to the King of Kings
You are my everything and I will adore You!
Clothed in rainbows, of living color
Flashes of lightning, rolls of thunder
Blessing and honor, strength and glory and power be
To You the only wise King
Holy, Holy, You are Holy!
Filled with wonder, awestruck wonder
At the mention of Your name
Jesus Your Name is power, breath and living water,
Such a marvelous mystery!
*Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty
Who was, and is, and is to come
With all creation I sing praise to the King of Kings
You are my everything and I will adore You!
(The Revelation Song)
Lord, I pray that You would fill my life with Your love. Help me to quench those negative voices in my head that would love to convince me that I am a nobody. I am thankful that the Holy Spirit continually challenges me to believe that I am of value to God and will be with Jesus Christ in Paradise . Can I believe God when He tells me that I was so important to Him that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for my sins!! YES, I can!! I am special to God. Let me believe it and live it!!
Lord, my heart breaks for those who do not know You. I can not imagine living my life without You to guide and direct my paths everyday and to be able to come to with all of my problems. Thank You for carrying me when I can not walk myself or can not deal with a situation, I know You are there with me. Lord, I pray for those who do not believe in You as Saviour of the world. May Your Spirit touch their hearts and open them to hear Your words, especially as we will be celebrating Thanksgiving; families and friends will be getting together and sharing time with each other. I pray for peace amongst all that get together and that the unsaved will come to know You as their Lord and Saviour!! May we as believers be ready to share with anyone that we feel is open to hear Your Word, just as it states in 2 Tim. 4:1-5. Help us to always be ready to share in season and out of season, because we never know when we will be called upon by God to share the HOPE that is within us, with others
Help us to ready and to pray for those we know in our jobs, businesses, communities, families and even churches that need Jesus!!
Most of all, please help me to not fall into temptation of not sharing with others. Give me the courage to speak when I feel that gentle nudge from the Holy Spirit to help someone!! Thank You God for all that You have taught me and are still teaching me. Thank You for giving me GRACE and MERCY and that You will NEVER give up on me. I know that “I can do all things through Jesus Christ who gives me the strength.” Phil. 4:13
AMEN!

Revelations from the valley
YOU ARE THE SOURCE… OF LIFE…I CAN’T BE LEFT…BEHIND…NO ONE ELSE WILL DO….. I WILL TAKE HOLD OF YOU…
**I NEED YOU JESUS! …TO COME TO MY RESCUE…WHERE ELSE CAN I GO…? THERE’S NO OTHER NAME BY… WHICH I AM SAVED…CAPTURE ME WITH GRACE…I WILL FOLLOW YOU…I WILL FOLLOW YOU…I WILL FOLLOW YOU…
YOU ARE THE SOURCE…OF LIFE…I CAN’T BE LEFT… BEHIND…NO ONE ELSE WILL DO… I WILL TAKE HOLD OF YOU…
THIS WORLD HAS NOTHING FOR ME…I WILL FOLLOW YOU!!
CAPTURE ME WITH GRACE… I WILL FOLLOW YOU!!
The Lord has been working in my life and teaching me to just trust in Him, instead of worrying about how to please the people in my life. There is nothing that I can do that will ever separate me from God’s love. He loves me with an everlasting love and He has a plan and purpose for my life. He is in control of my life, no one else has that power, including me. I know that I feel deep inside my heart and soul is in conflict and that is not what God has intended for my life.
Lyme became a safety net for me to heal from many hurts and emotions from the past. Although, during the healing process, there is always constant cleansing taking place. It was a hard, yet safe place for me to listen to the Lord and seek His Will for my life. I am still in that process of knowing what His will is for my life; what is my purpose, and I know I will find out in His time.
I’ve felt for a long time that I am being controlled by a person that has no right to control me or to even think that they can control my thinking and actions. I have let fear creep in and take over my emotions. I know that 2 Timothy 1:7 states, “For God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power. Love and a sound mind.”
The only one that I have to prove myself to is God. 2 Timothy 2:15, “Work hard so God can approve you. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.” I feel I have failed this in many ways and I need to get back to working hard.
For a long time I have condemned myself for the way things have been taking place in my life. I do not like to blame any other person for my inadequacies, that just does not seem fair to me. So, I tend to protect the very people that are slowly destroying me with their negativity and condemnations. I just assume that all problems must be from some sin in my life that I need to repent of, then things should get better. As I am slowly realizing, nothing depends on what I assume.
Am I really a negative person? Why is it that when I pray to not be a negative person that I do not change? Does God not hear me or is He choosing to not heal me of that thorn in my flesh until a later time? I do not know. What I do know is that I do not wish to be a negative person. I want people to be able to see Jesus in me, not negativity. I want to lead others to Jesus!
“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. For God knew his people in advance, and He chose them to become like His Son, so the His Son would be the firstborn, with many brothers and sisters. And having chosen them, He called them to come to Him. And He gave them right standing with Himself, and He promised them His glory." Romans 8: 28-30
Do I deserve to be condemned by a person that I have chosen to trust? Well, I know that God does not condemn me, so why should a man think he has the right? Hmmm.... Why again did I trust someone? I believe that is where the problem began. I needed a friend that was 'safe' to have, that lived far away from me. Yet, somehow I have allowed him to be able to control my feelings by the ways he talks to me. I end up feeling sorry for putting him through knowing me. But then, why does he call me and complain about me not calling him. Is it true that because I do not speak in the exact syntax that he thinks I should be using that I am a bad person? God should be the only One that has control over me!! This relationship is WRONG!! I do not and have never wanted any type of relationship with this person. This is not right, but who do I trust to go to with this information?
God, You know all things and YOU and only YOU know my heart. I know You will direct my paths and lead me in the way everlasting. I know if You bring a person to my mind that I can trust, I will reach out and seek assistance in this matter.
"What can we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since God did not spare even His own Son but gave Him up for us all, won’t God, who gave us Christ, also give us everything else?" Romans 8: 31-32
"Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for His own? Will God? No! He is the One who has given us right standing with Himself. Who then will condemn us? Will Christ Jesus? No, for He is the One who died for us and was raised to life for us and is sitting at the place of highest honor next to God, pleading for us."
"Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love?"
"Does it mean He no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or are hungry or cold or in danger or threatened with death? Even the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.” No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us."
"And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from His love. Death can’t, and life can’t. The angel’s can’t, and the demons can’t. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can’t keep God’s love away."
"Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:33-39 NLV
So, what is wrong with me, can I feel? Maybe God really did take my feelings away and that is why I can not feel all the time. When I talk to this person, I feel dead because I do not think I can feel; yet at other times that I can not stop feeling and my emotions get lose, especially when I am praising the Lord!
“How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. Keep me from deliberate sins! Don’t let them control my thoughts and feelings. Then I will be free of guilt and innocent of great sin.” Psalm 19:12-13
Dear heavenly Father, You know what I need before I even form the words in my mind on what I need to pray. You know that I need a new heart, not a physical one, but one that You will change. Give me the newness of spirit that refreshes like the spring water which flows through the valleys of Psalm 23. Lord , I really need a new heart, even though I thought I received one when I was born again and chose to follow You all the days of my life.
2 Corin. 5:17: “ Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
Heavenly Father, please create in me a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit within me. (Psalm 51:10) I know that once I have a changed heart, I will have a changed life. I will be much better at loving the unlovable, be kind to those that are unkind to me, and forgive the unforgiveable. Because when I have a new heart, I will have a heart like God’s heart.
After this divine transplant, in God's timing, healing will begin and my new heart will become capable of perfect love. My self-centeredness will become Christ-centeredness. There is healing to replace the hatred and a healing balm for the bitterness in my life. I can face the word with a freedom and a future I have never known before.
“May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O Lord, my Rock and Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14
Open my eyes that I behold the wonders of Your law.
Lord Jesus, I pray that you would cleanse my heart so You can speak to me through Your Holy Spirit and Your Word. Lord, please open my heart. Lord fill my heart with the Holy Spirit. May my mind be alert, my soul active and my heart warm. Enshroud me in Your presence during this time in the valley, Lord God Almighty.
"I once thought all these things were so very important, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the priceless gain of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I may have Christ and become one with Him. I no longer count on my own goodness or my ability to obey God's law, but I trust Christ to save me. For God's way of making us right with Himself depends on faith. As a result, I can really know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised Him from the dead. I can learn what it means to suffer with Him, sharing in His death, so that, somehow, I can experience the resurrection from the dead!"
"I don't mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection! But I keep working toward that day when I will finally be all that Christ Jesus saved me for and wants me to be. No, I am still not all I should be, but I am focusing all my energies on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling (me) up to heaven." Phil. 3:7-14
Phil. 4:4-9

It's in the Valleys I Grow
Sometimes life seems hard to bear,
Full of sorrow, trouble and woe
It’s then I have to remember
That it’s in the valleys I grow.
If I always stayed on the mountain top
And never experienced pain,
I would never appreciate God’s love
And would be living in vain.
I have so much to learn
And my growth is very slow,
Sometimes I need the mountain tops,
But it’s in the valleys I grow.
I do not always understand
Why things happen as they do,
But I am very sure of one thing.
My Lord will see me through.
My little valleys are nothing
When I picture Christ on the cross
He went through the valley of death;
His victory was Satan’s loss.
Forgive me Lord, for complaining
When I’m feeling so very low.
Just give me a gentle reminder
That it’s in the valleys I grow.
Continue to strengthen me, Lord
And use my life each day
To share your love with others
And help them find their way.
Thank you for valleys, Lord
For this one thing I know
The mountain tops are glorious
But it’s in the valleys I grow!

God's Guidance
When I meditated on the word ‘Guidance’
I kept seeing 'dance' at the end of the word.
As I strive to live by God's will,
I realize it is like dancing.
When two people try to lead, nothing feels right.
The movement doesn't flow with the music,
and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.
When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead,
both bodies begin to flow with the music.
One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back
or by pressing lightly in one direction or another.
It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully.
The dance takes surrender, willingness, and attentiveness
from one person, and gentle guidance and skill from the other.
My eyes drew back to the word Guidance.
When I saw 'G', I thought of God, followed by 'u' and 'i'.
God-u-and-i-dance
God, You, and I dance!
As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust
that I would get guidance about my life.
Once again, I became willing to let God lead.
My prayer for all of us is for God's blessings
and mercies to be upon us on this day and everyday.
May you abide in God as He abides in you.
Dance together with God, trusting God to lead
and to guide you through each season of your life.
As you think of the guidance that God has given you,
please share it with someone else, so they can share the blessing with you.
As we pray for each other, let us realize that
prayer is one of the best gifts we can receive.
There is no cost but a lot of rewards;
so let's continue to pray for one another!
I Hope You Dance
